The Trailhead has been locally owned and operated in Angel Fire since 1998. Customer service is our specialty, and we pride ourselves on our talented and helpful staff. We know there are a lot of places to find your outfitting and equipment in Angel Fire, but our customer service keeps people coming back year after year. So meet this year’s team and say hi when you come in.

Eddie & Annika Stillwell – Owners
Eddie and Annika purchased the Trailhead in 2024 from long-time owner Stan Samuels. The Stillwells have lived in the Moreno Valley since 2020 and have been life long outdoor enthusiasts. When not in the store they can be found carving it up on the slopes, off-trail on skis or boards or in a jeep. Their favorite thing about operating the ski shop has been helping people enjoy their time in Angel Fire and exploring creation with joy and lasting memories. Contact the Stillwells and the store through their email office@aftrailhead.com

Ezra Medina – Manager
Ezra has been part of the ski industry for over 17 years, working everywhere from mountain operations, retail and repairing skis and snowboards. For more than a decade, he’s been one of the familiar, friendly faces in our store. Whether you’re picking out your very first pair of winter equipment, or fine‑tuning your gear, he’s the one who’ll walk you through it with plenty of know‑how. His knack for helping people find exactly what they need—whether it’s the right boot fit or a perfectly tuned ski/board—is why so many customers keep coming back, and why we’re lucky to have him on the team.

Sylas Stillwell
Sylas has worked for the Trailhead since 2022. He is great at fitting customers into equipment and helping new riders with tips and tricks for a good experience. He is also one of our best repair and maintenance specialists, if you brake it he can fix it…but please don’t. Sylas is an avid snowboarder, ranked in the top 20 in the nation with USASA. He has been skiing since he was 4, and boarding since he was 7. If he is in the store when you come in be sure to ask him about the best runs and what trick he is currently working on in the park.

Titus Stillwell
Titus began working with the Trailhead in 2024 when he was just 12 years old. His smile and servant heart make every customer feel welcomed and appreciated. Titus is great at getting beginners into the right boot, and enjoys talking with young people who come in the store and share stories of shredding in the powder. He has a racing spirit and loves going fast, especially when he is competing in boardercross with USASA.

Reed Bennett
Reed moved into the Moreno Valley in 2024, worked with Winter Sports for one year, then joined the Trailhead team in 2025. Reed enjoys talking with customers and hearing about their experiences on the mountain. His warm and gentle spirit make him a great asset to our team, and a delight to our customers.

Shaun Esquivel
Shaun has been skiing and boarding in Angel Fire since 2021, taking care of his own equipment, and teaching and coaching with Angel Fire’s Ski School and Team Angel Fire. He joined the Trailhead team in 2025 and looks forward to sharing his talents and skills with others.

Noah Waggoner
Noah has grown up on the mountain at Angel Fire Resort with a parent who is level 3 ski instructor and director of Team Angel Fire. Noah has advanced as a boarder and skier, and loves tearing it up in the park or building custom jumps in the deep powder. He has been maintaining his own equipment for years and is great at wax, edging, and P-Texing to keep everything in top condition.
